CREATIVE LEAD, BRAND DEVELOPMENT, DESIGN, VIDEO PRODUCTION, ASSET CREATION
Popcorn Learning Media

As Creative Lead, I art-directed design concepts for digital learning modules for a variety of companies and organisations, while developing team capabilities and production standards. The role combined creative leadership with hands-on execution across illustration, animation, voice-over, and video production.
The Brief
Lead the creative team to deliver complex digital learning work: illustration, animation, and voice-over, while building scalable design systems that met corporate standards and unlocked creative possibilities. Drawing on psychology, including emotion-driven memory and tools like eye-tracking “hot-spotting,” I learned what makes learning effective and how to create engaging, emotionally stimulating content for digital learning.
Characterful and humourous hand drawn assets, to disrupt the viewer by differing from the usual stock and ai assets and create an emotive response. This emotive response helps to allow the content and message to stay in the viewers memory.
Animation and Video Creation
As well as helping to lead the creative output of the agency I also created video assets. In some cases I would work across the full video production in an end to end processes.
Pitch the idea, design the storyboard, create the assets, animation and video editing as well as voice over and sound editing.
Once approved, I would output in the correct format and resolution required.

UX/UI Design
Working for various clients, I would design and/or oversee UX pitches. Normally, there would be three options of the client to choose from. These designs would be developed according to design theory and metrics from ‘hot spotting’ technology; information on where the viewers eye would move to expected places for ‘next page’ or the ‘burger menu’ position.
